Experience the freedom and joy of a Gyrotonic® workout

- Extend your range of motion
- Strengthen all systems of your body
- Enjoy the circular, spiral, and undulating movements
- Energize your spine, expand the whole body
- Improve your coordination for all sports
- Stimulate the nervous system and massage the internal organs

The Gyrotonic Expansion System® is a whole new movement system that perfectly complements your Pilates sessions.
The Gyrotonic® movements originate in the spine and direct energy outward through the entire body in circular, spiraling and undulating sequences.
Exercises are performed on specialized equipment built with adjustable friction and resistance, developing strength and articulation in all the joints and muscles.
As in Pilates, the breath is an important element of each movement to open all the systems of the body.
Feels like “swimming in air”
As you move through gentle resistance, the Gyrotonic® exercises work the body in three dimensions simultaneously. Joints, connective tissue, and muscles are stretched and strengthened from all sides to make them more flexible, resilient, and responsive to the various impacts of your daily activities and sports training.
The circular movements stimulate the nervous system, massage the internal organs and regenerate the body’s energy to prevent stagnation.

A Body of Work helps you find your joy of movement
Our instructors will guide you through a progressive workout that allows you to experience your own sense of freedom and expansion.
Many of our clients choose to do both Pilates and GyrotonicŪ sessions to experience the benefits from each exercise program.
Created by Juliu Horvath, famed dancer
While healing a torn tendon in the 1960s, Horvath created a well-rounded exercise system by combining the deep principles of dance, yoga, tai chi, swimming, and gymnastics.
In the 1980s he began teaching the Gyrotonic Expansion System® in the U.S. and this exciting new system of movement continues to develop under his close supervision.

It's the best investment I've ever made in myself. - Alyce T.
